By India Today Web Desk: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, is all set to begin the Class 10 and 12 board examination 2023. According to the datesheets, the CBSE Board Exam 2023 will begin on February 15, 2023. The class 12 Physics board exam is scheduled for March 6, 2023. Physics is a subject where many students get cold feet. For many, formula-based questions get overwhelming. As students are gearing up for the finals, a last-minute preparation guide can be necessary for students to align their preparation and revision strategy to score the best marks.

These last-minute tips can help you score high marks in the upcoming CBSE Class 12 Physic Board Exam 2023: Mcu Semiconductor Chapter–1: Electric Charges and Fields

Main Points: Coulomb's law-force between point charges, electric field due to a point charge and electric dipole, torque and potential energy of a dipole in a uniform electric field, Gauss's theorem and its applications i.e line charge and shell

Chapter–2: Electrostatic Potential and Capacitance

Main Points: Electric potential due to a point charge, a dipole, equipotential surfaces, Potential energy, dielectrics, and electric polarization, Series and parallel capacitors, the capacitance of a parallel plate capacitor with and without dielectric medium, energy stored in a capacitor

Main Points: Drift velocity, mobility, and their relation with electric current; Ohm's law, V-I characteristics, electrical energy, and power, factors of resistance, Internal resistance, potential difference and emf of a cell, a combination of cells, Kirchhoff's rules, Wheatstone bridge.

Chapter–4: Moving Charges and Magnetism

Main Points: Biot - Savart law and its application to circular loops. Ampere's law and its applications to an infinitely long straight wire, solenoid, force on a moving charge, a current-carrying conductor in a uniform magnetic field and force between two parallel current-carrying conductors-definition of an ampere, torque on a current loop in, uniform magnetic field; magnetic dipole moment, moving coil galvanometer its current sensitivity and conversion to ammeter and voltmeter

Main Points: Bar magnet as an equivalent solenoid (qualitative treatment only), magnetic field intensity due to a magnetic dipole, torque on a magnetic dipole (bar magnet), magnetic properties of materials- Para-, dia- and ferromagnetic substances magnetic, the magnetization of materials, the effect of temperature on magnetic properties.
